Violet Chen was born in Taiwan and moved to Vancouver with her family in 1996. In 2005, she graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in Mathematics. Her love of mathematics and sensitivity to numbers enables Violet to provide accurate information and creative solutions in investment advisory.


Before becoming a REALTOR®, Ms. Chen, was a project manager to a mobile phone accessory manufacturing company in Taiwan. Her responsibilities required her to travel and conduct business all over the world in cities like Helsinki, London, and Hong Kong. This experience was the precursor to Violet’s success within the cultural and business diversity of the Vancouver real estate marketplace.

In 2009, Ms. Chen made the move back to Vancouver and made the career shift into real estate with the encouragement of her father who had been in the construction industry for more than 35 years.


Violet specializes in the marketing and sale of properties along the Vancouver East/West, downtown Vancouver, Richmond as well as in the areas of Burnaby Metrotown/Highgate. Violet has sold detached homes, condominiums, duplexes and project presales. Ms. Chen has consistently achieved high sales volumes with two simple ingredients: first, attention to quality service enabling repeat and referral clients and second, hard work.


Accurate information and careful analysis gives Violet’s clients the confidence in their buying and selling process. Violet takes great care in her market analysis of properties and in her networking within the Chinese immigrant society. She efficiently sells properties while sourcing the next right opportunity. As a wife and a mother, Violet understands what it takes to balance both work and family life.


With an international business background and strong overseas ties, Ms. Chen understands the Asian investment focus and has represented oversea clients in the North American real estate market. Violet is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese; she enjoys working with first time buyers with their need for accurate information and hassle free processes, seniors looking for change in lifestyle and responsibility, and luxury home owners, selling or sourcing that very special property not necessarily available on the market.
